Plot :.

24 is a serial drama which stars Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer, focusing on the efforts of the
fictional Counter Terrorist Unit, and their efforts to protect America from terrorism plots. Each episode typically
follows Bauer, officials in the U.S. government, and the conspirators behind the events of the day, often
simultaneously. The episodes take place over the course of one hour, depicting events as they happen, in real time. To
emphasize the real-world flow of events, a clock is prominently displayed on-screen during the show, and there is a
regular use of split screens, a technique used to depict multiple scenes occurring at the same time.

Season
7

Set 65 days after the end of Redemption, begins at 8:00 am. Jack is assisted by the FBI and covert
operatives when the firewall for America's federal computer infrastructure is breached by the same people responsible
for a conflict in Sangala. Jack must then uncover who is corrupted within President Taylor's administration, which has
allowed for the Sangalans to raid the White House and capture Taylor. She is later blackmailed by a private military
contractor in an attempt to release biological weapons on U.S. soil. Jack must thwart these attacks so that the
co-conspirators fail to cement their power at a government level.

Jack Bauer è un
ex agente del CTU (Counter Terrorist Unit), la divisione anti-terrorismo della CIA.
Le avventure vengono narrate
"in tempo reale": ogni episodio racconta un'ora della sua giornata, e ciascuna stagione corrisponde ad un giorno solare
(24 episodi di un ora).
Per scandire lo scorrere del tempo viene periodicamente mostrata l'ora in cui si succedono
i vari eventi.

Giorno 7

Il Giorno 7 ha inizio alle ore 08.00. Sono passati 4 anni dagli eventi del
Giorno 6, e per la prima volta nella storia della serie l'azione si svolge sulla costa est degli Stati Uniti.
Molte
cose sono cambiate in questi anni, una su tutte la scomparsa del CTU (Counter Terrorist Unit): dopo quanto accaduto nel
Giorno 6 la struttura è stata sciolta dal governo, che l'ha inglobata nella NSA.
Jack Bauer è a Washington:
è stato chiamato a testimoniare davanti ad una commissione del Senato, dove deve rendere conto di alcune sue azioni
passate per cui rischia di essere incriminato. Durante il dibattimento in aula però Jack viene improvvisamente
prelevato dall'agente dell'FBI Renee Walker, che ne richiede l'aiuto per affrontare quella che si profila come una
possibile crisi.
Al suo arrivo negli uffici dell'FBI Bauer si rende subito conto di quanto sia critica la
situazione per la sicurezza nazionale: Renee informa Jack che qualcuno vuole violare il firewall del CIP (il sistema che
protegge tutte le infrastrutture della nazione); se così fosse, telecomunicazioni, trasporti e reti elettriche
diventerebbero vulnerabili, con esiti catastrofici per il paese e la sua popolazione.
Quello che Jack Bauer non
immagina minimamente è che uno degli uomini dietro a questa minaccia è qualcuno che lui conosce molto bene...
